DIEP Flap Abdominal Scar Cover-Up Tattoo

Following a DIEP flap breast reconstruction, this client was left with abdominal

scarring where tissue had been taken to reconstruct her breast after a mastectomy.

I created a bespoke fine-line floral tattoo to cover and soften the appearance of the healed abdominal scar, working with the natural contours of her body.

The photographs below show the scarring before tattooing and the finished design, demonstrating how decorative tattooing can transform the appearance of surgical scars into something beautiful and personal.
